Membership Information

Membership in the League is open to anyone actively employed in the field of government relations. Membership renewals are on a anniversary basis and begin the month that you join and expire 12 months later. All members are asked to abide by the Code of Ethics (available for viewing by clicking here).

Individual/Washington, DC Resident Membership
This is the category available to individuals in the Washington, DC metropolitan area that are professionally employed in the field of government relations. Full voting membership with all membership benefits. Membership dues are $275 for new members for a 12-month membership. The renewal rate is $250 per year. Click here to join.

Organizational Membership
A group membership for an organization with multiple individuals professionally employed in government relations in the Washington, DC area; covers up to six individuals. (Additional members can be added, please call ALL to get a quote -- 703-960-3011.) Membership dues are $900 for new members and $800 for renewing members and includes full voting rights with all membership benefits for each individual covered. Click here to join.

Nonresident
Available to individuals engaged in government relations who reside outside the DC Metro Area. ALL defines the DC Metro area as south of Baltimore, MD; west of Annapolis, MD; north of Fredericksburg, VA; and east of the West Virginia-Virginia state line. Membership dues are $150 for new members and $125 for renewing members. Membership includes full voting rights and membership benefits. Click here to join.

Young Lobbyists Network
Available to individuals 35 or under who are engaged in government relations or related activities. (Applicant must provide birthdate.) Membership is $90 a year and includes full voting rights and benefits. Click here to join.

Associate
A non-voting membership available to any person or firm engaged in selling products or services of interest to members of the League. Cost is $500 per year and includes advertising on the web site, mailing privileges and opportunities to demonstrate products and services at appropriate events. Associate members are not eligible to hold office within the league. Click here to join.

Government
A non-voting membership available to educators whose work is related to lobbying, government relations or associated activities. Yearly dues are $85 for a 12-month term. Click here to join.

Academic

Student
A non-voting membership available to any full-time student at either the graduate or undergraduate level. Cost of Student membership is $30 for a 12-month term. Click here to join.
