Young Lobbyists Network
The Young Lobbyists Network (YLN) provides young lobbyists and GR professionals with a peer-to-peer network designed to foster deep roots in Washington and throughout the lobbying community. The American League of Lobbyists offers YLN members a discounted membership rate of only $90 in an effort to increase participation and educational development for young members of the lobbying profession. Through the Young Lobbyists Network, ALL aims to provide young lobbyists with the forum to engage in strategic debate about the current state of the industry and discuss ways to shape its future in Washington. By providing young professionals with meaningful professional programs, charitable activities, and social events, YLN will seek to raise positive awareness of the League's core mission of helping Americans understand the critical roles that lobbyists play in our society.
It is also the League's intent that the YLN mirror its efforts to contribute charitably to the non-lobbying community. YLN also participates in charitable efforts of its own, always seeking to strengthen ties between the lobbying community and the greater Washington, D.C. community.
The YLN hosts monthly networking happy hours on the 3rd Thursday of each month as well as several recruiting, mentoring, volunteer and outreach events throughout the year.
